 When I told him I like hot sake, Otosan informed me that the best sake was served cold, not needing to be heated. To prove his point, he ordered us three bottles of premium sake on top of the beer we were drinking. As a direct result, I got to hear him sing an old work song about the health benefits of hot water (traditionally sung by laborers who used to stir the hot spring water for rich people). |
